Orthopedic conditions

Orthopedic conditions:

The word orthopedic refers to the correction or prevention of bone deformities. Orthopedic conditions may be present at birth, such as hip dysplasia or clubfoot, or may develop over time, such as scoliosis. Knee pain, intoeing (feet or hips turning in), outtoeing (feet or hips turning out), bowed legs, hip pain and fractures are common reasons for consultation in orthopaedics and subsequently in physiotherapy and/ or occupational therapy.
