Education

Melissa completed her Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy at McGill University in 2004. She has aditional training in sensory integration and gait analysis.

Professional Experience

Melissa has several years of experience working with a diverse pediatric clientele. She is very energetic, dynamic and loves working with children. She has experience assessing and treating orthopaedic, neurological, perceptual and gross motor delayed cases individually and in group settings.

Melissa is also employed at Peter Hall School, where she works with children with intellectual disabilities aged 4 to 21 years old. As part of the physiotherapy team, she participates in the establishment of individualized education plans adapted to the specific needs of each student as well as providing recommendations to parents and teachers in order to promote gross motor development. She also supervises future physiotherapists during their clinical placements.
