Why Collage Pediatric Therapy?
Diverse caseload – Our clinic attracts a wide variety of clients, from toddlers to school-aged children and even some adults, with a range of difficulties, including autism spectrum disorder, fine and gross motor delays, sensory integration dysfunction, articulation and motor speech delays, language and auditory processing disorders and reading disabilities. This gives our clinicians the opportunity to develop broad expertise while allowing for the possibility of focusing on a small number of primary specialties.
Multi-disciplinary environment – We are committed to collaboration and communication among our team of therapists and educators, in order to ensure the maximum benefit to our clients, as well as to provide an open and friendly workplace environment.
Regular case review meetings – At our clinical team meetings, we have the opportunity to review important events and issues affecting our practice, explore new treatment methods and materials, and share ideas regarding interesting or difficult cases.
Flexible hours – Both full- and part-time positions are available. Clinicians may choose to work regular full days, or to focus their schedule on mornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends.
Ongoing therapist development – We encourage our therapists to continue to develop their skills and increase their expertise through continuing education programs. We will continue to participate in and host local workshops and educational meetings. Financial support for conferences and workshops is available. In addition, our regular case review meetings frequently include educational content.
Support for new graduates – We provide support and guidance, observation opportunities and a flexible degree of supervision to ensure the success of newly-licensed clinicians.
