Education
Jessica holds a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology and French from St. Thomas University. She is a certified as a Speech Language Pathologist and a teacher of English as a Second Language (TESL). She has also received certification in the It Takes Two to Talk the Hanen Program for Parents. Furthermore, at the New Brunswick Community College, Jessica completed an education program in the area of Early Childhood Education.
Professional Experience
Jessica comes to Collage with experience working with both English and French clients. Her previous experience includes various paediatric populations such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, selective mutism, and children with fluency disorders. She also has experience in a variety of settings including the rehabilitation unit at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, and the speech and language department at Moncton City Hospital in Moncton, New Brunswick. Jessica is pleased to provide services in French and English related to articulation, language, motor speech, and parent training.
Professional Associations and Memberships
Jessica is a member of the CASLPA (Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists) and is OOAQ (Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec) certified.
